Research

Main research area is the involvement of the Plasminogen activation system in thrombotic diseases and cancer, more specific the development of potential inhibitors of the key protease inhibitor Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor-1. NMR is used to obtain structural data on the potential ligands, and possible binding sites.
